Health Warning: Photosensitive Seizures

A very small percentage of individuals may experience epileptic seizures when exposed to certain light patterns, flashing lights, or visual effects that may appear in video games. If you or anyone in your family has a history of epilepsy or seizures, please consult a doctor before playing.

Stop playing immediately and seek medical attention if you experience any of the following symptoms while playing:
  • Dizziness
  • Altered vision
  • Eye or muscle twitches
  • Loss of awareness
  • Disorientation
  • Involuntary movements
  • Convulsions
To reduce the risk:
  • Play in a well-lit room
  • Do not play when drowsy or fatigued
  • Take regular breaks
Children and teenagers are more likely to experience these symptoms.
Parents should watch for or ask their children about the above warning signs.
